For each application, Arflu can supply different shutter designs and they all fit into the same valve body, allowing you to switch from one service application to another simply by changing the plug.

TOP ENTRY DESIGN
Top Entry Design allows integral Maintenance through the Top Bonnet. It is not necessary to remove the Valve from the pipe. Consequently, SWRO Plug Valves are often required with Butt Weld ends to the pipe.

*OPTIONAL. No need for Heavy or Bulky Tooling or Technical Assistance from manufacturer to make the sleeve replacement. Easy & Fast, provides Full Autonomy to the site. Certified spares instead of Lining on site means important savings over the years.
LOW PRESSURE FLANGE*
* OPTIONAL. Arflu SWRO Plug Valves can be manufactured with one Low Pressure Flange for direct connection to CIP (plastic/GRP) pipe. LP Flange can be manufactured acc. to customer needs (I.e. PN10, ANSI 150 and others). This solution represents important savings on CIP systems.

Arflu Plug valves are designed to resist efforts as severe as process water treatment by reverse osmosis process. For this, Arflu Engineering Department has developed a valve which design is based on traditional analytical calculation and using international standards ANSI B16.34 and UNE EN 12516.
We use the latest technology (3D Design and Finite Element Analysis) to optimize the design, comparing stresses and strains, calculate allowable flow in the valve and the pressure distribution in the reduction step to avoid turbulence and cavitation.
We have improve service and reliability of our product and we have also reduced to the lowest possible maintenance costs. One example is the Q-Ch System or “Quick Change Sleeve” for a simple, quick and economical replacement of PTFE / Teflon sleeves. (*) See Doc. Download Q-Ch in “TECHNICAL DATA”.
Arflu Plug valves are made of stainless materials, Duplex and Super Duplex according to requirement of our customers and are usually installed in the High Pressure lines or final process of Reverse Osmosis.
